This Privacy Policy explains how APIRank ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit apirank.vip (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

We do not require account registration to use APIRank. If you contact us via email (contact@apirank.vip), we will receive whatever information you include in your message.

When you visit APIRank, we and our third-party services may automatically collect:

  • IP address — used for geo-targeting (e.g., to detect China for accessibility info) and abuse prevention
  • Browser type and version — used to ensure compatibility
  • Referring URL — used to understand traffic sources
  • Pages visited and time spent — used to improve content
  • Device type (mobile/tablet/desktop) — used for responsive design

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

  • API keys, tokens, or authentication credentials (we don't have a backend service for you to log into)
  • Payment information (all purchases happen on third-party provider sites)
  • Personal identification beyond what is needed for site operation
  • Cross-site tracking data (we do not sell or share user data with data brokers)

3. Cookies and Local Storage

APIRank uses minimal cookies and local storage:

  • Essential cookies — for site functionality (e.g., language preference)
  • Analytics cookies — via Google Analytics 4 (see Section 4)
  • Advertising cookies — via Google AdSense (see Section 5)

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect site functionality.

4. Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use APIRank. GA4 collects anonymized usage data. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Advertising (Google AdSense)

APIRank displays ads served by Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

6. Affiliate Links

Some links on APIRank are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence our review rankings or recommendations.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / PIPEDA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate personal data

8. Data Retention

We retain analytics data for 26 months (Google Analytics default). Email inquiries are retained for as long as needed to address your question, then deleted. We do not retain user account data (we don't have user accounts).

9. Children's Privacy

APIRank is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at contact@apirank.vip and we will delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

APIRank is hosted on Cloudflare's global CDN. By using the Site, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
